Transylvanian Inn - Bran (Brasov)

The hotel offers a cozy atmosphere, beautifully decorated for the festive season. The views of snow-covered mountains and Bran Castle are nice! And don't miss the delicious, varied food that'll leave your taste buds dancing.

Calm and comfortable.

Relatively far from the centre of Bran and from the castle (but mountainbikes can be hired at the hotel). The hotel is reached via a steep gravel road.

The views overlooking Bran Castle and the mountains are fine 🌄 The room was spacious and clean, with a cozy atmosphere. Only downside was the cramped buffet area in the restaurant.

We had a car, however I would have to say that the dirt road would not have been appealing had I been walking!

We had the suite which is very nice, it has a functional fire place, a jacuzzi and a stunning view. The room is spacious and cozy.

Poor breakfast.

The unique homemade jams served at breakfast were an absolute highlight!

The place is wonderful, the staff are incredible and welcoming.

Clean, good value hotel, its location was stunning and brilliant and just next door to the mountains and Bran castle, all visiting brasov, and Transylvanian Inn after 4 years. This venue met requests, I couldn't recommend more...

The rooms are warm and well-maintained, provided with with a comfy bed, a balcony and local products. The service is marvellous, includes convenient parking;)))

Staying at Transylvanian Inn was an absolute delight! The view from our room was amazing, overlooking both Bran Castle and the majestic Bucegi mountains. The food was nothing short of lovely, especially the homemade 'Papanasi' dessert-that's a must-try! The cozy library with its panoramic views provided the perfect escape after a day of exploration.

First time we stayed there it was a strange smell in the room, this time it was really ok, clean and nice

The view from the Balcony was great. The food was cheap and good value. The breakfast was nothing special but more than adequate. There were bikes you could hire for 5lei an hour. Bran Castle was just a 5 minute cycle away and we could see it from our balcony. the room was good, a nice size and clean with modern furnishings. A great place to stay. It was good value for money and we will definitely return in the summer. I imagine the terrace and grounds will be much nicer to have a beer in with the sun out.

The surroundings are beautiful, and my kids had a blast playing table tennis. The food was fabulous, and the views from the restaurant were amazing.

My wife thinks they could improve accessibility for families.

The Hotel is located on a little hill just outside of Bran. The view from our room pointed towards the pituresque village. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The room itself was great: we had a lot of space, the room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was very comfortable. W-Lan worked even in the room. This was the only hotel in Romania where we experienced this! The room was cleaned every day and towels exchanged on a daily basis. The breakfast was very good and included eggs in all varieties, different cheeses and sausages, jam, honey, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. One could choose between 15 different tea flavors. The coffee was made fresh for each customer.

The road towards the hotelis a dirt road, so be prepared for a shaky ride up the hill.

A little difficult to find but well situated with views of Bran Castle. Helpful staff, good rooms with balcony, good breakfast but the evening Restaurant has some ground to make up on the rest of the Hotel, especially the volume at which the TV is on.
